Watch a passing receipt become stale

01 WeftMark

A fixture, not a production assessment.

Install WeftMark from source in a virtual environment, then create a separate Git repository with at least one committed file. Use the homepage quickstart to create the demo Change Set and its first test receipt.

The test checks only that example.txt exists. That narrow assertion is intentional: the experiment demonstrates revision binding and stale evidence, not the correctness or safety of a deployed AI system. The example-author review is not independent approval.

02 WeftMark

Advance the head without repeating the check.

After the initial review reports ready, commit a change to the fixture and refresh the Change Set. The old passing receipt still names the earlier commit. In the checked local prototype, the following review reports stale and exits with status 5.

03 WeftMark

Produce evidence for the new revision.

Run the same small check again at the clean new head and create another policy review. The checked experiment returns ready again. The history keeps both receipts and explains why the first stopped supporting current readiness.

04 WeftMark

Ask Nostoi a different question.

In an ordinary standalone Git fixture, WeftMark keeps ledger.jsonl under the common Git directory's weftmark folder. Nostoi can verify its compatible ledger format. Linked worktrees share a common Git directory, so resolve it rather than assuming .git is a directory.

A successful integrity check says the retained record is internally consistent. It does not approve the example review, authenticate the author label, or prove that all significant actions were captured.
