A dossier that survives its author

The technical expectations behind trust: exact references, qualified observations, intervention and a usable handoff.

Reference the work and the conditions.

A useful dossier links intent and authority to an exact revision, dependencies, environment, data/tool references and evaluation conditions. Provider-reported model identity and directly observed serving identity should remain distinguishable.

Where an observation is absent, say unknown. A producer-supplied label can be useful metadata without becoming a verified assertion about a person, model or time.

02 WeftMark

Coverage and failure are part of provenance.

Record the capture interval, known omissions, failed or unavailable checks and conditions under which prior results become stale. A durable history is not necessarily a complete one, and a small passing test is not necessarily representative.

As agents gain broader tool access, evidence should cover refusal paths, changed authority, retrieval and model updates, execution limits and recovery. These are engineering expectations; each deployment needs its own risk-appropriate criteria.

03 WeftMark

The reviewer needs more than a dashboard.

Connect review to a verified identity and delegated authority in the production system. Explain the criterion, provide a way to challenge or suspend the action, and retain the decision and remaining uncertainty.

Read-only phone and tablet projections make the record easier to inspect. A view is not an approval receipt, and convenience should not silently broaden the authority of the person holding the device.

04 WeftMark

Structure is a form of care.

A compact handoff names the current head, evidence bindings, open findings and next action. It helps a colleague continue without reproducing an entire conversation or inheriting hidden assumptions.

WeftMark's value is that inspectable structure. The professional expectation is not certainty; it is an honest account of why a decision was taken, which facts support it, and what would make it necessary to reconsider.
